The State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan jointly with the UNDP Technical Assistance Project “Support to Effective National Aid Coordination and Investment Promotion” has prepared annual guides “Development Partner Profiles 2009-2010” and “Foreign Aid Report - 2008”.
The seventh edition guide “Development Partner Profiles 2009-2010” which is the updated version of the previous publications covers dynamic changes occurred in the field of foreign aid. The objective of its publishing is to increase the awareness of all those who are currently involved and those who may become potential participants in the process of providing aid to Tajikistan about the specificity and activity of each Development Partner taking into account their specialization in regional and sector projects.
“Foreign Aid Report - 2008” has been prepared based on the data provided by the Development Partners. The information was entered and processed in the Database of the SCI Aid Coordination and Project Monitoring System (ACPMS). The Report contains the overview of status of attracting and using the foreign aid, dynamics of the key indicators defining aid effectiveness, detail information on each project (agreement), which is implemented in the republic at the funds of attracted foreign aid.
These Guides are placed on the SCI official website on foreign aid in Tajik, English, and Russian languages.

On August 24, 2010 the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Davlatali Saidov had a meeting with the UN Development Programme Country Director, Mr. Rastislav Vrbensky and UNDP Consultant, Ms. Doreen Wilson. In the meeting issues of support and assistance provided by the UN Development Programme to the government sector were discussed. |
