1.This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business online, January 24, 2005 and printed edition issue no. 648 dated February 16, 2005.
2.The Republic of Tajikistan has received a credit and grant from the International Development Association and grant from the Swiss Government toward the cost of electricity and gas components of the Energy Loss Reduction Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Computers and office equipments.
3.The Open Stock Holding Power Company "Barki Tojik"now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for supply of computers and office equipments. Computers and office equipments shall be delivered within 8-12 weeks after the contract signing date.
4.Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

6. Qualifications requirements include:
Minimum Annual Turnover of US $ 500,000.
Successfully executed two similar contracts of the same value, within the last 5years.

On August 24, 2010 the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Davlatali Saidov had a meeting with the UN Development Programme Country Director, Mr. Rastislav Vrbensky and UNDP Consultant, Ms. Doreen Wilson.
